Nationwide SMART Card Public Payphone Network with NMS

BPT had won the prestigious project of replacing the old magnetic card payphones with the latest start of the art Smart ICchip card payphones all over Oman for Oman Telecommunications Company.

The complex project involved phasing out of the old payphones and installing the new payphones without causing any customer inconveniences. The project executed over a period of 2 years was stage wise upgrade of the Payphone Network Management System, with complete installation of payphones and payphone booths spread all over the country changing the face of the Omantel’s public telephony system.
